2019 Year in Review

Thank you for your hard work and dedication in 2019. We achieved a lot this past year that would not have been possible without the work you provide each day. We wish each of you a Happy and Healthy New Year.

    • Colorectal surgery (Community Physician Group)
    • Plastic surgery (CPG/Lift Plastic Surgery – Adult & Pediatric)
    • Pediatric orthopedic surgery (Community Children’s – Pediatric Surgery)
    • Tele-stroke/tele-neurology (Emergency Department)
    • Home based primary care (Community Physician Group)
    • Pediatric diabetes & endocrinology (Community Children’s – Specialty Clinic)
    • Transgender care (Lift Plastic Surgery & Community Children’s – Specialty Clinic)
    • Full time adult intensivist program (ICU)
    • Integrated behavioral health in primary care clinics (Community Physician Group)
    • Implemented suicide risk screening across the hospital and CPG
    • Introduced palliative care in the hospital
    • Opening a third Community FirstCare location on Jan. 2 (North Reserve)
  • CMS Quality Rating went from a 3-star to a 4-star
  • Montana Medicaid Expansion Bill Passed
  • APSI – New clinic & outpatient surgery center
  • CMC Dialysis – New Outpatient Dialysis Center
  • Hospital Acquired Infections saw a drastic reduction due to hand hygiene compliance.
  • Increase in hospital admissions and primary care visits over prior year.
  • ED received a successful State trauma review w/ a 2-year accreditation.
  • ED, ICU & MedSurg recognized for organ and tissue donations.
  • Received Joint Commission re-certification for total hip & knee replacements
  • Recognized numerous safety champions some saved lives or serious harm by their actions.
  • Invested $2 million in capital improvements
  • Provided merit increases to eligible staff
